Sandwell Council secures funding from the European Regional Development Fund

Sandwell Council and its partners have secured funding of £4.1 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for the scheme which has already seen new paving, trees and street furniture installed along the High Street.  Work is due to complete end of April 2014.

The new layout of the town will give the town centre an opportunity to put events on to entertain our local shopper.  The events area will have stage lighting, underground electrics and anchor points for marquees.
