Skills Training UK Open Day 26/11/2022
Skills Training UK West Bromwich centre will be holding our annual November open day on Saturday 26th from 10:00- 13:30pm. To showcase your next career steps as an alternative provision to six form and college for summer 2023!
Where you are welcome to come and have a look around the centre and speak with the tutors about any of the courses we offer. If you attend the Open Day and fill in an application, you will have a chance to win a 2022/2023 West Bromwich Albion Football Shirt and an Amazon Fire 7 Tablet.
At the West Bromwich centre, we offer:
- Health and Social Care BTEC Level 2
- Health and Social Care BTEC Level 3
- Customer Service practitioners Diploma BTEC Level 2
- Digital Technologies BTEC Level 2
- Principles of Warehouse and Storage Extended Certificate BTEC Level 2 – With an award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment, and an Aware in Principles of customer service (CSCS Prep and exam offered at the end of programme)
All of the course’s we offer also include Personal Social development and support with employability as well as IAG and support onto next steps. If learners have below a Grade 4 in English/Math we can help upskill this through- GCSE Resit if they previously achieved a grade 3 at GCSE or functional skills.
Skills Training UK can offer an education programme built around you, and for you. Our BTEC courses are also sponsored by employers matched to students’ courses and learners will have the opportunity to go onto a work experience built around their courses.
If you’re aged 16-18, our courses can help you progress to an Apprenticeship, Further Education, or employment.
Everyone is welcome, so don’t worry if you have struggled in the past or think that something might hold you back. We will work with you to develop your knowledge, skills, and your confidence.
We’re not like school or college – classes are smaller, your programme is tailored to you and our supportive trainers and mentors will help you reach your potential.
We offer vocational qualifications at Levels 2 and 3 alongside qualifications in English and Maths if you need them.
