West Brom gets the Segway Bug!

August 30th saw the first West Bromwich Town Centre Family Segway Day, organised by the Sandwell Markets Team and the developing Business Improvement District (BID)

The day was a great success, with over 70 people taking part on the free Segway rides in the town centre. People of all ages took part, along with the town centre police team joining in the fun.

John Hodgkiss, BID Co-ordinator for West Bromwich Town Centre commented: “The first Segway Day was a great success. A fun time was had by all and we’ll certainly look at bringing Segways back to West Bromwich in the future.”
