Summer Fun in New Square Shopping Centre – The Beach is back !!!

The seaside is coming back to New Square with a spectacular summer of fun for the whole family!

The shopping centre’s famous beach is returning complete with deckchairs and bucket and spades, so there’s plenty of opportunity for the grown ups to kick back and enjoy the ultimate stay-cation while the kids play!

Visitors can enjoy all the fun of the fair with rides for the whole family to experience, including a carousel and a cup and saucer waltzer, plus fairground game ‘hook a duck’ and bungee trampolining. For the first time, there will also be canoes so kids can ‘sail’ down the river!

The seaside fun continues through the summer holidays with free events and activities including, including face painting on 22 July, a visit from Punch and Judy on Thursday 27 July, Balloon Modelling on Saturday 5 August and Face Painting on Saturday 12 August.

Keep your eyes peeled on the beach as there will be lots of chances to win fantastic prizes and discounts from New Square’s shops and restaurants, as well as some tasty freebies, including our very own New Square rock! Profits raised from fairground rides will be donated to the children’s wards at Sandwell Hospital, New Square’s Charity of the Year 2017.
